Awesome Mach 1 Mustang with an Amazing Restoration! Power Steering, Power Brakes, Factory Air Conditioning, the list goes on and on. Investment minded collectors take note, this is the ONE!! The Ford Mustang Mach 1 started with the fastback Sports Roof body and added several visual and performance enhancing items. Those features included a matte black hood treatment with hood pins, chrome gas cap and wheels, chrome exhaust tips, on 4-barrel carbureted cars, and dealer optional front and rear spoilers, and louvers. Mach 1’s came standard with upgraded suspension and Hood Mounted scoop with turn signal indicators mounted in the rear of the scoop. Outselling the base GT model, Ford canceled the GT altogether to make the Mach 1 the primary street performance Mustang. The St. Louis Car Museum & Sales is pleased to offer this exquisite 1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1 to the most astute collector and investment minded individual. Finished in rare and highly desired Grabber Orange over Black Knit Vinyl interior, this Mach 1 is sure to draw attention and complements where ever it goes. The newer restoration has seen only minimal drive and show time and presents itself wonderfully! Powered by the famous 351ci Cleveland V8 topped with a Holley 4-barrel carburetor, and upgraded to a more durable C6 automatic transmission make this Mustang ready for exhilarating drives and slow cruise nights! Restored to high standards and true to its original door tag and buck tag, this Mustang does not disappoint. Some high points of the restoration included are; new paint, new interior, new chrome and trim, new weather stripping, new tires and wheels, new stainless exhaust system with Magnaflo mufflers and integrated X-pipe, new fuel tank with fuel lines, new bushings, new shocks, new brakes and brake lines, new transmission lines, deep sump oil pan and B&M aluminum finned transmission pan for extra oil capacity and cooling features, long tube headers, Edelbrock performance intake painted engine color (most people never notice the upgrade), highly detailed engine and engine bay with new decals and correct paint after rebuild, correct clamps used though out engine bay, new lights, and rebuilt A/C system. Some of the more notable features of this car include; factory air conditioning, power steering, power disc brakes, C6 automatic, 351ci Cleveland 4BBL engine, 9 Traction-Lok rear end, factory AM radio, Pioneer AM/FM/CD Stereo mounted under dash, Parrot hands-free Bluetooth phone devise, Rim Blow steering wheel horn, bucket seats, Center Console, Pass-thru Folding rear seat, Spare Tire, Jack and Tool, Front Seatbelts with shoulder straps, Front and rear spoilers, Rear Window Slats, and 14” Chrome Magnum 500 wheels with BFGoodrich Radial T/A Tires. An excellent time to purchase as the classic car market is again on the upswing, with Mustangs leading the way. Investment quality examples such as this one are becoming increasingly hard to find.
