Very Rare 1935 LaSalle 2-Passenger Coupe with Suicide Doors. Fresh Rebuilt Transmission! The 1935 Series 50 La Salle, while virtually unchanged in body design from 1934, sported a new single bar bumper with two over riders, a new vee-type windshield, new cowl, a longer 120 inch wheelbase, and new hubcaps, all of which are small but important differences to collectors today. There was at the time perhaps no American production car as streamlined as the LaSalle. The stunning LaSalle Coupe presented here just finished receiving a new interior. The paint has been color sanded and buffed to a high standard. The chrome is excellent as well as the fit of the doors. The underneath of the car shows as nice as the top. The car runs and drives well with its new rebuilt transmission. The car needs a few finishing touches such as tune up, headlights finished, etc. One of only a few produced and with just a handful of survivors, this 1935 LaSalle will always be considered art in both form and function.
